Trust keeps people happyDear Editor:Eyes from our courthouse.Why is there no trust from our law officials in our small little town and Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office? Why can a person call from way east of here and see what is going on down Main Street?I hear this was a grant for surveillance? Who pays for the upkeep on it? Is it the taxpayer? Also remember, grants are from taxpayer money. How many city cops did this item replace? Only takes one person to sit and watch the computer for violations, record it and send one cop to issue a ticket. In the meantime someone is robbing somewhere else. Do cops ever work at night, now?Our town has not grown much and to have a device such as this is unacceptable. It makes me wonder about our law enforcement and the changes we need to make next election.I don’t want to be subject to an electronic snooper so it will not see me shopping at home, as you all want us too.
