As we settle into our new home and lives in Roswell, N.M., the Usher family would like to thank every one of you who made our stay in Meeker for the past three years one that we will always remember.
Particular thanks of course must go to my co-workers and friends at Pioneers Medical Center, who have helped and supported me through three pretty difficult years there, to all of those who worked with Tinna and became such good friends at the First National Bank of the Rockies as well as the staff and children at Meeker Elementary School who looked after Darcy so well and made her time there so much fun.
Tinna is already missing her 4-H work and, of course, her scrapbooking group, and Darcy misses her Girl Scout and 4-H friends as we try to put down roots in a new community. The whole family misses the great food and friendship provided by Kris and Henry at Ma Famiglia.
I remain very appreciative that I was given the opportunity to serve the community at PMC and despite the nature of my departure I want everybody in Meeker to know that there is no better place to get your health taken care of and no better group of people to do it. Please continue to support the facility because it is truly one to be proud of.
Above we would like you all to know that the Usher family left town with great sadness but with real appreciation of what a truly special place Meeker is — so don’t let anybody tell you any differently.
Go, Cowboys!
The Usher family
David, Tinna and Darcy
