David Mast of Purina Foods, presented a workshop titled “Livestock Nutrition” at the 2013 Agriculture and Business Seminars on Saturday, one of many business and agriculture-related seminars sponsored by the Meeker Chamber of Commerce, the Friends of the FFA Alumni and a number of other groups. Nearly 100 people took advantage of the event. At right, volunteers and Friends of the FFA Alumni cooked and served lunch to the county residents taking part in the day of seminars. Author and speaker Jim Whitt was keynote speaker at the event.
