Local puppies impacted by contagious Parvovirus

RBC — Canine parvovirus has reared its ugly head again in Rio Blanco County.
Canine parvovirus is a highly contagious and serious disease caused by a virus that attacks the gastrointestinal tract of puppies, dogs and wild canids.
Parvovirus is usually spread when puppies and dogs ingest the virus that is passed in the feces of an infected dog.
