RBC I There’s still more work to do on the county’s master plan. Actually, it’s more fine tuning at this stage.
A public meeting will be held at 6 tonight at the county administration building to review a draft version of the master plan, which serves as a blueprint for growth in the county. The process began more than a year ago.
“It’s kind of hard to get public involvement at first,” said Ken Parsons, County Commission chairman. “I would think there would be some people who would want to take a look at it and comment on it.”
Parsons hopes the process is nearing completion.
“When we look through the maps in detail, there may be small things here and there (to change), but broadly speaking, we’re getting there,” he said.
A copy of the draft master plan is available at the county website: www.co.rio-blanco.co.us.
