More than 30 Rangely residents were locked up at Giovanni’s Italian Grill last week in an effort to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Those arrested were allowed more than one phone call and served a tasty meal. More than $9,000 was raised according to Kendall Montagriff, executive director of the MDA in Grand Junction, who said 75 percent of the money raised would help more than 200 registered families on the western slope. Some of those participating were (top) Norma Hood, Nita Henson, Sam Tolley and Jason Kruger. (Middle) Shirley Sinclair and Lisa Hatch. (Bottom) Raelene Glavin-Bills and Brittney LeBleu.
