MEEKER — The Meeker 4-H Ghost Riders are back again and ready to begin a brand new year.
To start the new year off we elected our club officers. Once again our president is Denee Chintala, our vice president is Kaysyn Chintala, secretary is Savannah Johnson, treasurer is Tristan Nielsen, council represntatives are Sydney Hughes and Daylon Nielsen, pledge leaders are Lauren Urista and Daylon Nielsen and Amber Holding and reporter is Maclaine Shults.
Our first order of business was to survey all members as to what activities they would like to add to make this year’s club season interesting and fun! The most popular votes were trail riding, rodeo events, English riding, bareback activities and taking another trail ride up to Marvine Lake! We’re all very excited.
Our next order of business was to discuss our club fundraisers. We are, once again, selling the Little Caesar Pizza Kits!
Those who have purchased these kits in the past will be happy to hear we will be selling them again in late February at $5 per kit. So get your taste buds ready for another round of great tasting pizza, cookie dough or pies you can make at home, and support your local 4-H Horse club!
Our ‘09 community pride project we will be taking a trail ride up to Marvine Lake to help clean up the area in early summer. We will continue to pick up trash throughout the area from hunting camps and dump sites.
