Meeker 4-H sheep and goat growers

MEEKER I The sheep and goat meeting was held on July 17. The meeting was called to order at 7 p.m. by Taylor Neilson. Ashley led the pledges and Ally Ridings called roll and read the minutes. Taylor gave the treasurer’s report. We discussed the jackpot. Lathrop Hughes gave a demonstration on public speaking. We discussed rules for fair. There will be a member meeting on Wednesday before weigh-in. Be sure to bring your health forms. We talked about how the sale money will be given out. We discussed bedding options. The meeting was adjourned. On July 30, we met to bed our stalls. It was a lot of work, but everyone helped. Thank you to the Lawson family for donating much of the materials for the stalls. We ate pizza and went home tired.
