Meeker Arts Council meeting Friday

MEEKER | The first meeting of 2012 for the Meeker Arts and Cultural Council (MACC) will be held Friday, Jan. 13 at 7 p.m. at Kilowatt Korner (WREA building). This will be an organizational meeting to set up the MACC structure and decide on members for a board of directors and officers. Members of the MHS drama club and youth members are especially encouraged to attend. Among new ideas to be discussed are a performing arts center, the designation of a creative industries district, a spring dinner theater, grant programs and much more. Refreshments will be served.
