MEEKER I The Christmas holiday shopping season officially begin in Meeker on Saturday as the Meeker Chamber of Commerce and several local businesses host its annual “Shop Local on Small Business Saturday” event.
Stephanie Kobald, executive director of the Meeker chamber, said, “We are encouraging folks to shop locally on Small Business Saturday. We have a number of businesses that will be open that day and the specials they are offering. These businesses will have “Small Business Saturday” free gifts to hand out while supplies last, including shopping bags, pens, pet bandanas, buttons, etc.
