We’re about to jump headfirst into the holiday season, starting with Halloween. Do you have your costume plans made? If you’re going to follow trends in movies and TV, just pick some character out of the ‘70s or ‘80s, or almost any of the recently revisited superheroes like the Green Hornet, or the Green Lantern.
For those in desperate need of some excuse to celebrate something, October is Clergy Appreciation month, Sarcastic Awareness month, Pickled Pepper month, and Car Care month. Okay, so car care isn’t something to celebrate unless you’re a mechanic, but any excuse will do, right? It’s also Breast Cancer Awareness month (unless you are completely separated from all forms of media, you already know this), Domestic Violence Awareness month, Dental Hygiene month and Healthy Lung month.
