Even the Amish people are having a hard time getting along with each other in our national atmosphere of meanness and griping and complaining. In Ohio, a 66-year-old man and two of his sons were arrested last week for hair-cutting attacks. Sneaking up on other Amish folks, or even into their homes, and violently cutting off the men’s beards and the women’s hair. The length of a man’s beard and a woman’s hair are of religious importance to the Amish community. The irony in the story? The man’s name is Sam Mullett. Perhaps his surname is the source of his hairy temper.
Make sure to dress the little ones nice and warm for Halloween festivities this weekend, since it almost always snows on Halloween. Colorado natives grow up designing their costumes around winter coats and boots.
Starting tonight, the FCCLA will be knocking on doors to collect food for the local food bank.
