This is the last week of business as usual for The Bakery. It is with great sadness we bid this Meeker business icon fare-thee-well. We’ll miss your cookies, and doughnuts, and cinnamon rolls, and bread, but we wish you well in the future, lots of rest and refreshing!
It has been dubbed “The Mystery of the Stiff Coyote” by reporter John Colson. The coyote was found standing alongside a road near a Silt subdivision last week, frozen stiff. It’s surmised the animal was injured, then trapped in the storm that howled through the area last week, dumping snow that drifted up to three feet high.
Besides wishing everyone a very merry Christmas, we’d like to send birthday shout-outs this week, too.
