MEEKER — Somebody somewhere has paid researchers to study satellite photos of thousands of cows worldwide. Their conclusion? Cattle seem to spontaneously align their bodies in a north-south direction when resting or grazing. Apparently, when the cows come home, it’s because they have a sense of direction. No GPS required. Who pays for this stuff, anyway?
