It’s been seven years since the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Where were you that September morning? Like Pearl Harbor, the assassination of John F. Kennedy, and the explosion of the space shuttle, you’re likely to remember where you were and what you were doing Sept. 11, 2001, for the rest of your life. Today is Patriot Day, so let’s be sure to remember our troops overseas, still fighting for freedom and searching out the criminals responsible for the 9/11 attacks. And take a moment today to remember all those who died or were injured or lost loved ones at the World Trade Center in New York City, at the Pentagon in Washington and on United Flight 93.

Unfortun-ately, there are no magic crystal balls floating around the Herald Times office, informing us of your birthdays, anniversaries, and other special dates. Please let us know if we’ve missed you, or if we need to update our files. Without you, we’re clueless! Please send us your family’s special dates — anniversaries, birthdays, etc. — so we can celebrate with you! Send info to [email protected], or mail items to P.O. Box 720, Meeker, Colo., 81641.
