Turning leaves mean statewide mention
’Tis the week for fall color viewing, according to several statewide publications. Both The Coloradoan and the Denver Post mentioned our very own Flat Tops scenic byway between Meeker and Yampa as a prime spot to view nature’s autumn splendor.
Cooling temperatures — at least at night — remind us that this is the final week of Summer 2008. It’s time to check chimneys and furnaces and boilers before we need them on full-time!
Something about the local soccer season seems to have the same effect as a rain dance. You can tell it’s time for soccer when those fall monsoons start coming!
