The 673-mile natural gas pipeline planned by TransCanada Corp. will be “downsized.” The pipeline, which was to start in Meeker will begin in Gillette, Wyo., instead. The decision comes as a result of the decreased drilling in Colorado. Ah well. They come, they go. Meeker marches on.
Recent letters to the editor have indicated possible “favoritism” by various county entities, with decisions made for the benefit of a few by board members of various groups. Really? We’re shocked. Whoever heard of such a thing.
