n Holiday hours at the MRC will be: Dec. 25 closed; open at noon Dec. 26. Close at noon Dec. 31, closed Jan. 1.
n Holiday Hoops basketball camp for grades K-eighth will be Friday, Jan. 2 in the MHS gym from 8 a.m. – noon. Cost is $20.
n The Butterfly school bus transportation from the elementary school to the MRC is only for children enrolled in 3:30 p.m. programs.
n After School Mania for grades Pre K-fifth will feature art as the theme for the session which begins the week of Jan. 5. Classes begin at 3:30 p.m.; transportation from the elementary school to the Rec Center is available.
n Swim lessons begin the week of Jan. 5. The pool will be closed on Mondays and Wednesdays during swim lessons from 5:45-7:30 p.m.
n Youth basketball (YBA) for boys and girls in grades 3-6 begins Jan. 7. The $25 cost includes jersey.
n Tiny Toes for ages 2 and 3 begins Jan. 6. A parent or caregiver must participate. Cost is $10.
n Dance Academies for grades PreK-12th begin the week of Jan. 5. Transportation is available for 3:30 p.m. classes.
n Game Day for older adults will be Thursday, Jan. 8 from 9 – 10:30 a.m. Get out of the house, play games with friends, have a cup of coffee for free.
n Cooking with Local Yokels starts Jan. 8 featuring “Healthy, Fresh and Zingy‚” as the theme. Bring a friend and enjoy a meal in the fairgrounds kitchen for $5 at 6:30 p.m.
n Drop-in Fitness Classes resume in January, many the week of Jan. 5.
n Monthly and six-month membership options are now available.
n Personal training is now offered in three different package options.
n The MRC pool will close every Thursday from 9 a.m.-noon for maintenance.
