Rangely Recreation Center News: June 19, 2008

n The installation of Elks Park playground is now complete. Come join us for our grand opening ceremony Friday, June 20 at 5 p.m. There will be hot dogs and refreshments, as well as a movie in the park as soon as the sun goes down.
n College-4-Kids will be kicking off this week with its underwater classes. Snorkeling, scuba and underwater hockey will all be offered in June with the remainder of the classes scheduled for July. Stop by the Rec Center to pick up a full class list and information.
n Adult softball is underway but it’s not too late to sign up as a team or as an individual. Team sign up deadline is Monday, June 23. Individuals who wish to play can contact the Rec Center and we will find a team for you. Mondays — Women; Tuesdays — Men.
n The final session of swimming lessons will run June 30-July 10. This will most likely be the last session of swimming lessons before the Recreation Center begins renovation so make sure to get signed up today.
