Meeker Recreation Center News: May 8, 2008

n Free dance recital featuring dance students of pre-school through high school ages will be Sunday, May 11, 5 p.m. at the high school auditorium.
n Meeker Marlins, the new swim team, will begin May 12. It is open to children ages 8-18 who can swim 25 yards using a breast stroke or front crawl stroke. Cost is $30. The team will meet on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7 p.m. until school is out and then at 10:30-11:30 a.m. through mid-July. Register by calling, going online or coming in.
n Volleyball camp for boys and girls will be May 30. The fourth-grade group will meet from 9 a.m. until noon, the fifth- eighth-graders will meet from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. Cost is $10.
