Meeker Recreation Center News: October 23, 2008

n Meeker Sand & Gravel is sponsoring Family Night Out at the Meeker Rec. Center. On Sunday, Oct. 26, from 6:30-8 p.m. the first 75 people of any age visiting the MRC will be admitted for free. All fitness room and pool amenities will be available. Rec. Center guidelines will apply. The Tot Spot will not be open. The center is located at 101 Ute Rd. Call 878-3403 for information.
n After School Mania Session Two begins Oct. 27. The focus this session will be on “Groovy Mooves.” Classes are available for grades Pre-K through second-grade, and third- through fifth-grades. Cost is $20 and $25 respectively.
n Free Pumpkins Eats and Treats being held on Friday, Oct. 31 will include a costume contest, costume parade, trick or treating at downtown businesses and food. Participants should meet at the Meeker Elementary School at 5 p.m. for the costume judging at 5:15 p.m.
