MEEKER | Governor Jared Polis issued an executive order to suspend school activity until April 17, and Meeker School District has announced they will begin formulating their approach to alternative learning.
MSD will also provide school breakfasts and lunches to students in need once the originally-scheduled spring break, which was set for March 23 through 26, ends.
Superintendent Chris Selle released a letter Thursday morning stating, “the Meeker School District Administration Team will be meeting Thursday, March 26. We will begin to develop plans at that time to provide alternative forms of learning for students in our school district, as well as provide free and reduced lunch and breakfast.”

Other counties have switched to digital learning platforms and video streaming with apps like Zoom to continue learning during the shutdown. Parents will be receiving a letter from Public Health with more information and recommendations.
