Meeker School Supply Lists ~ 2014/2015

Meeker High School
In general, every student is expected to have a USB or thumb drive along with writing utensils and be prepared for individual courses.

All Math classes: TI-83+ or 84+ graphing calculator, graph and lined paper, 3-ring binder for papers and pencils, ruler (metric and English) and colored pencils.

Science classes: 3-ring binder notebooks, graph and lined paper, bound composition book (college ruled at least 80 sheets for field/lab notes) available at Jackson’s, indelible ink pen (black or blue), metric ruler and colored pencils.

Social Studies (Geography/World History): 3-ring notebooks, binder or folders for material collections, 3-hole paper, spiral notebooks and colored paper.

Computer Classes: USB Jump Drive (minimum 512 MB)

Foreign Language: 3-ring notebooks, binders or folders for material collections, 3-hole paper and spiral notebooks.

Physical Education/Personal Fitness: Appropriate dress for class (shorts, sweats, tennis shoes) and weight-training gloves.

Art: Small sketch pad, six No. 2 pencils, 2 soft erasers and 2 black extra-fine-point sharpies.

Upper-Level Math Classes: TI-83+ or 84+ graphing calculator, drawing compass, protractor, graph and lined paper, 3-ring binder notebook, metric ruler and colored pencils.

Language Art/Literature Classes: Binder, notepaper, 2 composition notebooks, assorted highlighters, dictionary, style manual (Elements of Style or similar), pens and pencils.

Survival Skills: 2” binder for resource files and a 2” binder for career portfolio.

Vocational Ag. Classes: 2”-binder, a 1”-binder (mechanics class), a pair of 100 percent cotton coveralls and leather shoes (Ag. Mechanics)

Band/ Jazz Band: A spiral notebook, mechanical pencil, instrument-related supplies, proper concert dress (black slacks, dark shoes/socks, and white button down shirt). Band students should bring your instrument the first day of school.

Choir: 3-in. black 3-ring binder, spiral notebook, mechanical pencil.

Electives: Paper, notebooks, special items to be announced.

Miscellaneous: USB jump drive, pencils, erasers, pens, white-out.

Barone Middle School
Sixth Grade: 4 spiral notebooks (journal), highlighters in yellow, pink, green, and blue, 4 packages of college-ruled paper, pencils to be replenished each quarter, mechanical pencils (with extra lead), Trapper Keeper with pencil pouch, (4) 3-hole folders for Trapper Keeper, 2 containers of Clorox wipes, 2 boxes of Kleenex, 1” 3-ring binder and $5 for History Alive notebook (supplied).

Seventh Grade: 2 composition notebooks, highlighters in yellow, pink, green, and blue, 4 packages of college-ruled paper, pencils to be replenished each quarter, mechanical pencils (with extra lead), Trapper Keeper with pencil pouch, (4) 3-folders for Trapper Keeper, 2 full size containers of Clorox wipes, 2 large boxes of Kleenex, a 2” 3-ring binder and $5 for History Alive notebook.

Eighth Grade: 6 pocket folders, 2 packages of 3×5 index cards, 3 composition notebooks, personal headphones for computer, 3 packages of 100-count college ruled loose-leaf paper for assignments, $5 for a Alive notebook (supplied), a 1 inch 3-ring binder, a pencil pouch, colored pencils/markers, 2 glue sticks and highlighters in yellow, green, pink and blue, pencils and 2 red pens.

Band: instrument book, instrument-related supplies, proper concert dress (black slacks, dark shoes/socks) and pencils

Physical Education: Shorts, T-shirt and athletic shoes.

All fees must be paid at the first of the year. Band fees: percussion $20; rental of school instrument $40; Computer annual fee: $15; Athletic fees: $40 per sport (every athlete must have an annual physical on file to participate in any sport).

Meeker Elementary School
Please note: Some teachers may include class-specific supply lists. Those items will be required in addition to the items listed below. Girls: 1-gallon-size box of Ziploc baggies. Boys: Sandwich-size box of Ziploc baggies.

Kindergarten: Backpack, 2 pkgs. Clorox wipes, construction paper, crayons (24-pk.), 3 folders (2 pocket, no fasteners), 10 glue sticks, 3 boxes of Kleenex, 1 4-pack dry erase markers, 1 package napkins, 1 ream white copy paper, 1 pkg. paper plates, 2-24-pks. No. 2 pencils and 1 snack item for class (non-perishable).

First Grade: Backpack, 1 package Clorox wipes, crayons (24-pk.), 2 big erasers, 10 glue sticks, 1 pair headphones, 1 box of Kleenex, 2 pks. dry erase markers (4-pack), 1 wide-ruled spiral notebook, 3 composition notebooks, 1 ream white copy paper, 1 24-pk. No. 2 pencils, 1 24-pk. colored pencils, scissors, 1 snack item for class (non-perishable).

Second Grade: Backpack, 2 pkgs. Clorox wipes, 24-pk. crayons, 4 big erasers, 2 folders (2 pocket, no fasteners), 1 bottle glue, 10 glue sticks, 1 pair headphones, multi-color pack highlighters, 2 boxes of Kleenex, 1 pack dry erase markers (4-pk.), 1 pkg. washable markers, 3 wide-ruled spiral notebooks, 2 composition notebooks, 1 ream white copy paper, 2 24-pks. No. 2 pencils, 1 24-pk. colored pencils, school box, scissors, 2 snack items for class (non-perishable).

Third Grade: Backpack, calculator, 1 package Clorox wipes, 3 folders (2 pocket, no fasteners), 2 glue sticks, 1 pair headphones, multi-color pack highlighters, 1 box of Kleenex, 1 4-pk. dry erase markers, 1 pkg. washable markers, 4 composition notebooks, 1 pkg. wide-ruled loose leaf paper, 1 ream white copy paper, 2 24-pks. No. 2 pencils, 1 24-pack colored pencils, ruler (centimeters & inches), school box, scissors and 1 snack item for class (non-perishable).

Fourth Grade: Backpack, calculator, 1 pkg. Clorox wipes, 24-pk. crayons, 2 folders (2 pocket, no fasteners), 2 glue sticks, 1 pair headphones, multi-color pack highlighters, 1 box of Kleenex, 1 4-pk. dry erase markers, 1 pkg. washable markers, 3 wide-ruled spiral notebooks, 2 composition notebooks, 1 pkg. wide-ruled loose leaf paper, 1 ream white copy paper, 2-24-packs No. 2 pencils, 1-24-pack colored pencils, ruler (centimeters and inches), scissors and 1 snack item for class (non-perishable).

Fifth Grade: Backpack, calculator (optional), pkg. Clorox wipes, 24-pk. crayons, deck playing cards, big eraser, 4 folders (2 pocket, no fasteners), 2 glue sticks, pair headphones, package 3×5 index cards, 2 boxes of Kleenex, 4 wide-ruled spiral notebooks, composition notebook, pkg. wide-ruled loose leaf paper, ream white copy paper, one 24-pk. No. 2 pencils, 24-pk. colored pencils, scissors and 1 snack item for class (non-perishable).
