RBC | With the assistance and collaboration of the Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office, Rangely Police Department along with their K-9 unit, and the Meeker Police Department, multiple arrests were made last week centered around methamphetamines.
Three parties were arrested and taken into custody at Rio Blanco County Detention Center for the following charges:
Amanda Lucero: unlawful possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), conspiracy of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), conspiracy to distribute/manufacture/dispense/sale/possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), unlawful distribution/manufacture/dispense/sale/possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia.
Kate Lloyd: possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful distribution/manufacture/dispense/sale/possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine)
Dawon Tripplett: conspiracy of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), conspiracy to distribute/manufacture/dispense/sale/possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).
Unlawful Distribution of a Schedule II Controlled Substance and Possession with Intent to Distribute a Schedule II Controlled Substance, are both Class 3 Drug Felonies each carrying a range of 4-12 years in prison and a $3,000-$750,000 fine. Unlawful Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance, Conspiracy to Distribute a Schedule II Controlled Substance, are Class 4 Drug Felonies with a range of 2-6 years in prison and a $2,000-$500,000 fine.
