MEEKER I The Class of 1966 at Meeker High School enjoyed its 50-year reunion over the July 4 weekend. This year was our 10th get-together as we have met every five years since graduation.

Events started with a buffet at the Mexican House on July 2, when the remembrances began, including sharing happy times with those no longer with us (13).
One teacher, Mrs. Marg Rogers (former Miss Russel) from second grade, attended and we thought of other teachers (who survived some of us).
July 3 was a brunch at classmate Charlotte Mobley’s home. It was a full day of visiting and decorating the float for the Fourth of July Range Call Parade.
We enjoyed being part of the parade and even picked up two more classmates along the route.
We gathered back at Charlotte Mobley’s home to watch the Meeker town fireworks that evening.
To those of you that couldn’t make it—we hope you will attend our 55th. Thanks to all who helped with the reunion—we have a great class!
There were 46 students who graduated, but we have more students who attended Meeker schools and are part of our class.
Twenty-nine attended one or more of the reunion activities along with spouses and friends.
