RBC | The Meeker High School drama club will be hosting a production of The Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. In their production, there are six students who battle for the spelling bee championship. Throughout the entire program, the audience will be able to get an inside look to what happens behind the curtains of the bee. While doing so they are spelling challenging words, hoping not to hear the soul crushing sound of the bell. A wild ride, complete with audience participation, the play has been regarded as “a delightful den of comedic genius.” The play is being directed by Shana Holliday and stars Savana May, Briar Meszaros, Annelise Amack, Brandon Lozano, Ridge Williams, Zach Harman, Mason Holiday, Ashdon Siebert, Cori Mohr, Tacy Crawford, Bentlee Barry and Kelsey Atchley. Showings will be Thursday, April 5 at 7:30 p.m. and Friday, April 6 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets will be sold at the door for $5.
