Clear skies and sun mixed with the green hills in the background to make for a great day for the 47 members of the class as they passed one of the major milestones in one’s life.

High school and school district officials look on Saturday morning as Amanda Kendall, the salutatorian for the MHS Class of 2013, addressed her fellow seniors, reviewing the good times the students had along their lengthy journey to graduation. The students were presented their diplomas by the Meeker School District Board of Education. Also speaking at the commencement was class valedictorian Emily Eliasen, who passed her colorful mantle on to Taylor Neilson and Piper Haney, who will be seniors in the Class of 2014.
