It was a mixed start for the lady Panthers regular season. They hosted a two-day tournament playing four games total. Panthers came out on top in both Friday games to beat Hotchkiss and Moffat County 2-1. Saturday was a little tough losing to Telluride 2-1 and Rifle 2-0.
“The Panthers played well all weekend showing the drive and mental toughness to come back from deficits early in all their matches to either win or at least make it close. We are really looking forward to see what these young women will accomplish this season,” said coach Marybel Cox.
