Encana has given grant money to the Rangely Museum for the second time to spruce up its 1913 schoolhouse. While an earlier grant two years ago purchased new blinds for the schoolhouse, the newest $9,000 donation has been used to fix windows, remodel some siding and paint the structure.
Employees representing Encana at the museum on June 10 included, from left, production manager Fred Slagle, operations manager Ken Retzlaff, vice president of western operations Jeff Balmer, superintendent of Piceance operations Doug Rosa and senior manager of Piceance development Chris Valdez. Rangely Museum employee Julia Davis, museum board member Cheryl Robertson, museum director Brenda Hopson, board president Tom Collins, board member Dorothy Collins and employee Diane Sizemore represented the museum.
