RANGELY I The next meeting of the Community Networking Group will be held Tuesday in the Weiss Conference Room at Colorado Northwestern Community College.
The event will run from noon to 1:30 p.m. and the guest speaker for August will be Cynthia Nieb, deputy director of the State Historical Fund of History Colorado. Nieb will discuss past SHF grants that have gone to projects in Rio Blanco and Moffat counties as well as potential projects.
Opening the meeting will be Russell George and Peggy Rector, and speakers on the agenda include Nick Goshe, CEO at Rangely District Hospital; Tim Webber, administrator at the Western Rio Blanco Recreation District; Matt Scoggins, the new Rangley School District superintendent; Rangley Town Manager Peter Brixius; Rangley Town Mayor Frank Huitt, Rio Blanco County commissioners Shawn Bolton, Jeff Eskelson and Jon Hill; Henry Hames, president of the Rangely Chamber of Commerce and several other business and board officials.
Lunch will be served at the meeting.
The next Networking Meeting will be on Sept. 24, from noon to 2 p.m., also in the Weiss Conference Room at CNCC. Lunch will be served, and the guest speaker will be determined at a later date.
