New birthing option in Grand Junction

RBC | Women in Rio Blanco County and northwest Colorado now have a third birthing option available to them with the opening of the free-standing birth center, Bloomin’ Babies Birth Center, LLC in Grand Junction.
According to the center, studies have shown that midwife-led birth center care decreases costs to women and the U.S. health care system without affecting quality of care.
The public is invited to an open house scheduled on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., when they can tour the birth center and learn more about birth center births.
