The Pioneers Medical Center Pediatric Care Clinic had its public open house on Friday, and the medical staff at the clinic was present to meet visitors and introduce them to clinic’s services. In one of the examination rooms are, from left to right: medical assistant Nicole LeBlanc; Dr. Elizabeth Buisker, D.O.; Dr. Kellie Turner, M.D.; and Dr. Chris Williams, M.D. The clinic is open Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The physicians have partnered with Rocky Mountain Youth Center to develop a pediatrics program for the Meeker Community. Visitors to the clinic included Kristen Battige with two-month old daughter Lilah, and Nicole Dupire with 1-year-old twins Parker and Myles. The clinic offers up-to-date developmental screenings and guidance as recommended by the American Academy of Pediatricians and follows the gold standard for pediatric and adolescent care.
