Memorial golf tournament May 19

Garrison building now open on weekends
MEEKER | The White River Museum Garrison building will now be open weekends from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. during the tourist season, May-September. (It is open anytime by request.) Everyone is welcome to revisit Meeker history.
Wagon Wheel OHV Club meeting May 23
MEEKER | The initial meeting of the Wagon Wheel OHV Club will be held Wednesday, May 23 at 7 p.m. at Kilowatt Korner in Meeker. All ATV/UTV riders and other interested persons are encouraged to attend. For more information call 970-756-5500.
Phelan receives achievement award
RANGELY | McPherson College recognized the outstanding students of the 2011-2012 academic year at its annual celebration and awards convocation on May 4. Following a highlight video of the last year, faculty and staff presented the CRC Press first-year chemistry achievement award to freshman Victoria Phelan of Rangely. McPherson College, located in central Kansas, is a four-year private liberal arts college.
Mobile pantry in Meeker May 17
MEEKER | Food Bank of the Rockies (FBR) mobile pantry truck will be in Meeker providing assistance to community members Thursday, May 17 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall, 779 Sulphur Creek Rd.
