Community Cantata Dec. 9
MEEKER | The annual community cantata, titled “Holy Night of Miracles” will be held Dec. 9 at 3 p.m., in the Meeker High School auditorium.

MEEKER | If you would like to sponsor a child for Christmas through The Giving Tree, an ornament can be picked up at Meeker Drugs. Gifts purchased need to be returned to the United Methodist Church no later than Dec. 1. Thank you for your support!
Share the Light ceremony Dec. 5
MEEKER | The Share the Light tree lighting ceremony on the courthouse lawn will be held Wednesday, Dec. 5 at 5:30 p.m. The ceremony is hosted by the Pioneers Healthcare Foundation.
MACC meeting Dec. 3
MEEKER | The Meeker Arts and Cultural Council (MACC) will meet Monday, Dec. 3 at 6:30 p.m. in the old Meeker Elementary School gymnasium to consider ongoing and new projects including: the Abraham Lincoln re-enactor’s production tentatively set for February for the Meeker School District students and for the Meeker community; Performing Arts Enrichment Seminars with faculty from higher education institutions in early 2013 which may include acting, directing, theatre history, technical theatre and related topics for youth and adults of the community; spring performing arts productions and possible concerts to be determined such as talent shows, renowned artists, and dinner theatre, cowboy poets and much more. MACC welcomes community youth and adult members, organizations, businesses and corporations and is actively seeking grant funding and donations for support of performing and fine arts/cultural programs on behalf of the Meeker community.
