A Rio Blanco County High School graduate in 1951, Alfred P. Rail, 76, of Pueblo, Colo., passed away Nov. 16, 2008.
Alfred, a. k. a. Pee Wee, Al, Fred, Freddie, is survived by his daughters, Gloria (David) Gallegos of Rifle, Georgina (Bill) Miller and Julieann Rail of Pueblo; brother, Eloy Rael of Pueblo; grandchildren Craig, Eric, Julian, Tisha, Liza, Sheena and Tim; and great-grandchildren, Haden, Andres, Acacia, Haley and Nikiah. Also surviving are brother-in-laws, Butch Rael of Grand Junction, Ernie Garcia and Wayne Moody of Meeker. In addition, Alfred is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Alfred was preceded in death by his wife Mary (nee Aragon); son, William; parents, Julian and Mary Rael; three siblings who died in infancy; brothers, Henry and Sam Rael; and sisters, Georgina Wise, Delordez Bloomfield, Martha Garcia and Julia Moody.
Alfred was a barber in Pueblo for 50 years, a retired school district custodian, he loved playing pool and fishing.
A memorial service was held Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2008, at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel in Pueblo, Colo.
