Andrea was born in Pueblo, Colo., on Nov. 7, 1958, to the late Benjamin and Carol Russell. She attended Glenwood Springs High School and was graduated in 1977.
Andrea studied and was graduated from Kaplan University with paralegal studies and criminal justice degrees. She worked as a social worker in the Child Support Enforcement Department up to her retirement, and she enjoyed participating in historical reenactments.
She was an active member of the Meeker Lions Club, The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and Colorado Municipal Clerks Association. She also arranged for the fireworks display for Meeker’s 4th of July. Andrea was instrumental in the Range Call annual events and played Miss Meeker several times herself.
Andrea is survived by: her loving husband, Tim Leff; her loving brothers, David (Jeanie), Jay (Dana), Jeremy (Kelly) and Dennis (Michelle) along with her nieces and nephews. Andrea was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Carol Russell, and husband Jim Harmon.
Memorial services will be held at Meeker City Park at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Andrea Harmon Memorial, Mountain Valley Bank in Meeker.
A private family service will be held in the spring.
