Ann Schram

Ann Schram passed away on May 29, 2019, after a brief illness. She spent the last month surrounded by her family who loved and cared for her. Ann was born in Meeker, Colorado, on March 11, 1935, to Melvin and Dorothy Holland. She was raised in Meeker and graduated from high school in 1953. After graduating from Colorado State University, she moved to Craig where she raised her three children, Kirk, Janet and Janiene. She taught physical education for 26 years until her retirement in 1990. She was one of the first girls’ sports coaches in Craig. She also had many fun years with her bowling team. After retiring she spent her winters in Arizona, and she moved back to Meeker for the summers. She had an active and fun-filled retirement. She enjoyed many activities, including playing cards, bingo, line dancing, traveling, reading and gardening. She had many friends in both Arizona and Colorado. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her children Kirk (Xavier), Janet (Peter), and Janiene (Jim); her grandchildren Erin (Casey), Kyle, (Adriane), Kellen, Meagan (Jake), Brendan, Kirsten, Chris, Tim, Greg and Spencer; and great-grandchildren Hudson, Cole, Hazel, Ash and Lucas.
