Obituary: Brandon Lee Robinson

Brandon Lee Robinson
Feb. 8, 1976 ~ July 29, 2008
Our loving husband, father, son, brother and friend, Brandon Lee Robinson, returned to his heavenly home, Wednesday, July 29, 2008, near Evanston, Wyo., from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident while traveling to work.
Brandon was born Feb. 8, 1976, in Roosevelt, Utah, to Gary L. and Debbie Penrod Robinson. He grew up in Altamont and attended Altamont High School where he excelled in sports and was all-state football and a state champion wrestler. He was graduated in 1994 and went on to become an electrician.
Brandon was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and an Eagle Scout. In 1995, he served in the Kenya, Nairobi, East Africa Mission.
He was employed by EnCana Oil and Gas, Inc., as a lead electrical instrumentation technician. Brandon had an excellent work ethic; he was a man of honesty and integrity who provided well for his family.
He married Jennifer Nielsen June 14, 2003, in Duchesne, Utah. They were sealed in the Vernal temple Oct. 13, 2007.
They were blessed with three beautiful children, Carson Lee, 4 1/2, and twins Jade Hjordis and Brex Douglas, 11 weeks.
Brandon loved his family, he loved life and lived it to the fullest. He enjoyed snowmobiling in the winter and riding his Harley in the summer. His greatest joy was camping, cooking, hunting and fishing with his son Carson. Brandon’s love for these activities developed while packing and camping in the high Uintahs with his father, brothers and uncles. Brandon made friends wherever he went and was loved by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife and children of Vernal, Utah; his parents of Altamont, Utah; sister, Kristina (Kirk) Stevens, of Holden, Utah; brother, Nathan James Robinson, of Bluebell, Utah; brother, Joseph (Shalom) Smiley, of Provo, Utah. Grandparents James L. and Phyllis Penrod, of Altamont, Utah, and June Robinson, of Alpine, Utah; parents-in-law Douglas and Yordis Nielsen of Duchesne, Utah. He is also survived by his numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Brandon is preceded in death by grandfather Ray Robinson, uncle Carl Dean Penrod, and cousin Chad Robinson.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 2 at 11 a.m. in the Lake Fork Chapel in Mountain Home. A viewing was held Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the mortuary and at the chapel one hour prior to services. Interment was in the Mt. Home-Bonneta Cemetery under the direction of Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
