Obituary: Ed Grove

Eugene Edward Grove, 53, of Piceance Creek, passed away Jan. 3, 2011. He was born March 1, 1958, in York, Penn., to Donald and Yvonne Grove. Ed had lived in the Meeker area for three years and was employed by Western Gravel as a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed the mountains, hunting, fishing, NASCAR and Harley-Davidson. He truly loved spending time with family and being in the outdoors.
Ed is survived by his parents Donald and Yvonne; his wife Dawn Hoskin Grove; son Edward Grove and daughter Debra Grove; sisters Ellen and Barbara of Pennsylvania and five grandchildren.
A memorial service for Ed will be held at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the Rio Blanco Funeral Home in Meeker.
