A beloved mother, sister and grandmother, Faye Ann Henderson (Klein) passed away April 10, 2013. Faye Ann was born in Meeker, Colo., to Julius John Klein and Florence Amanda Klein, the fourth of six children.
Shortly after graduating from Meeker High School, Faye Ann relocated to Denver, where she met her husband, David Henderson. They were blessed with two children, Katherine Ann Henderson (Kosta) and Bentley Henderson.
Subsequent to the dissolution of their marriage, she returned to Meeker, where she devoted her time to her children and her extended family. One of her greatest joys came in the form of her only grandchild Tyler. Tyler and “Grandma Faye” were best buddies and she doted over him like only a grandma can.
Faye Ann worked in a number of different secretarial-related positions with her true forte being in the legal field, where she spent the majority of her career. After becoming an empty nester, she moved to Grand Junction, where she lived for almost 30 years, many of those working in the Mesa County District Attorney’s Office.
Faye Ann was preceded in death by her mother, Florence; her father, Julius; and her eldest brother, Julius John Jr. Surviving Faye Ann are her children, Kathy and Bentley; grandson Tyler; siblings Emma Lou Klein (Frisby), Betty Joy Klein (Cook), Larry Lee Klein and Thomas Hensel Klein, along with a loving extended family of nieces and nephews.
