Gina lived a life dedicated to the service of others. While living in Hayden, Gina earned her EMT and EMTI certification and worked with the local volunteer ambulance service. Gina was graduated from the Colorado School of Healing Arts in 2013 and opened Hol Heart Bodyworks in Meeker, where she put her many talents to work through massage to help heal others, often extending massages and charging too little, or nothing at all, just so she ensured that she made her patients feel better.
Gina also volunteered at HopeWest as a medical massage therapist, using her talent to ease the pain and relieve the stress of those in need.
Gina loved cheering on her grandsons in lacrosse and basketball, camping with Ron and Papa Keith, spending time with her siblings and working in her garden and yard. She had a masterful talent for growing plants and flowers and has converted their residence into a plant and bird sanctuary.
Memorial services for Gina will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2015, at the United Methodist Church in Meeker. A reception will follow at the Freeman E. Fairfield Center.
