Herbert J. Budge was born in Rifle on Nov. 20, 1947, to Claude J. and Ermina (Maybury) Burner and was later adopted by Norma and Harry Budge.
Herb, 62, of Denver passed away Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2010. He will sadly be missed by his sisters Mary (Bruce) Adams and children of Meeker, Laurisa (John) Davis and children of Rifle, Claudette (Daniel) Boone of Bend, Ore., and step-sister Sally Moody. Brother Loyal Burner (deceased) of Meeker.
Herb has three daughters: Jeanette (Donald) Boucher, Dorian Keeney and Christiane (Steven Smith), six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Also left to mourn Herb’s passing are a host of friends and relatives.
Herb loved the outdoors, fishing and camping at the Budge resort, bowling, and playing the guitar. He loved to play pool and have a good laugh. He served in the U.S. Army in the ’60s and again in the ’80s. He was well loved by his many friends and his family. He will be missed.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
