Jerry Dean Dembowski, 67, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2015, in St. Petersburg, Fla.
Jerry was born Jan. 20, 1948, in Omaha, Neb., to Jack and Clara (Deanna) Dembowski. He was the last of three children.
Jerry was graduated from Rangely (Colo.) High School in 1967. He joined the United States Army after high school and served his country honorably in Vietnam with the Army Corp of Engineers. Jerry returned to Rangely after being discharged from the Army.
Jerry is survived by: his daughters, Deana Dembowski of Omaha, Neb., and Lisa Williams and her husband, J.J., also of Omaha; grandchildren Dakota and McKenna Williams; sister Barbara Franklin and her husband, Gordon, of Clifton, Colo.; brother Jack Dembowski and his wife, Dora, of Springfield, Mo.; nieces Yvette Stewart and husband Jim of Trinidad, Colo., Vanessa Trexel and husband Jason of Pueblo, Colo.; Amber West and husband Steve of Springfield, Mo.; nephews Michael Oetting of Columbia, Mo.; Chris Dembowski of Springfield, Mo., and Peter Franklin and wife Rebecca of Whitewater, Colo.; and extended family and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 13, 2015, at the Springfield (Mo.) National Cemetery with Donald Wester officiating.
