Lonnie Fowler

Lonnie Fowler, 91, entered into rest on Nov. 28, 2010, in Manteca, Calif. He was born on Aug. 24, 1919 in Hughes, Okla., to the late Andrew and Malisie Fowler. He was preceded in death by three of his sons, Larry, Leroy, and Tom. Lonnie leaves behind his wife of 35 years, Dorothy (Baughman) Fowler of Manteca. His children are Leon Fowler of Waco, Texas; Terry Fowler of Colorado Springs, Colo.; Dee Baughman of Visalia, Calif.; Dick Baughman of Isiqua, Wash.; Sally Rice of Stockton, Calif.; and Rob Baughman of Meeker, Colo. Lonnie had been blessed by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild. Lonnie loved his family and many friends dearly.
Lonnie served in the U.S. Navy during WWII.
During Lonnie’s life he touched many hearts and his work and service to others gave his life meaning, especially through AA.
His wife, Dorothy was his best friend and confidant.
Lonnie enjoyed fishing with his friends and loved to play cribbage.
Lonnie was laid to rest at the Tracy (California) Public Cemetery with full military honors.
