Mabel Ann Fazzi

Mabel Ann Fazzi, 73, passed away June 13, 2010, at her residence in Silt.
Ann was born Sept. 20, 1936, in Grand Junction, to John Rex and Mabel Bell (Dean) Robinson. She married Fred Fazzi on Jan. 15, 1957, in Las Vegas.
Ann was politically active in her community serving on the town of Silt Board of Trustees for many years, and always volunteered her time with elections. One of the greatest joys of her life was her six grandchildren, they called her “Grannie Annie.” She also loved her garden, flowers, humming birds and spending time with her extensive family and friends to numerous to count.
Ann is survived by her husband Fred Fazzi; son Ron (Patty) Fazzi of Rifle; daughters Donna (Rocky) Fix of Silt and Debra Fazzi of Sedona, Ariz.; brother James (MaryJean) Robinson of Thornton; sisters Jeanne (Earl) Ilgen of Greeley and Linda (Pete) Hancock of Tucson, Ariz.; brother and sister-in-law Don (MaryAnn) Fazzi of Silt; her beloved grandchildren Chelsie Griefenberg, Asa Fix, Angela Griefenberg, Brandon Fazzi, Shanna Fix and Mathew Griefenberg; numerous nieces and nephews and many, many more loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother John R. Robinson.
A viewing is planned for Thursday, June 17 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Mormon Church in Rifle. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Interment will follow immediately at Skyline Cemetery in Silt.
