Marilyn grew up and went to school in Meeker, Colo., and Omega, Okla. After the passing of her parents, she was raised by her Uncle Jesse and Aunt Lilly Ross in Meeker, where she finished high school.
As an adult she worked at The Valley Motel for about 20 years.
She loved being a mom and raised her son, Kenneth, in Meeker.
She is survived by: a son, Kenneth A. Baker; three brothers, Harold Linn (Janine) Baker, Allen LeRoy (Tina) Baker), and Jesse Kenneth (Kassie) Baker. She is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
