Pansy (Moore) Wilson passed away on Jan. 23, 2010. Pansy had suffered a broken hip only weeks prior to her death.
Pansy (Pat) was born in Meeker on Nov. 22, 1915. Pansy was raised on a small ranch near Strawberry Creek. She is survived by her son, John, and her sisters, Barbara and Melba. She is also survived by her nephews Dale, Keith and many others.
Pansy was proud to work at Douglas Aircraft during World War II. After the war, Pansy worked at the Veterans Administration Hospital until 1973, when the Sylmar, Calif., earthquake leveled the hospital. Pansy assisted in the search and recovery operation.
Pansy retired in Long Beach, Calif. She enjoyed long walks along the beach and feeding the squirrels at Bixby Park. Pansy was a very loving and giving person. She was a great mother and we miss her.
