Stanley Whitehawk McCook, 40, of Meeker, Colo., passed away March 21, 2019.
He was born Jan. 24, 1979, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Stanford McCook and Mary Gayle Ankerpont. He married Kelly Jo Ramsey on Feb. 5, 2004, in Meeker.
Stanley was a concrete worker in construction. He was a passionate Raiders fan and enjoyed camping, fishing, hiking, being in the mountains, riding bikes and painting.
He is survived by his wife Kelly and his children Natasha and Aiyana McCook, all of Meeker; his mother, Mary Ankerpont; brothers, Isaac McCook, Greg Quinn, Kevin Bowler and Randy Hughes; aunts, Mary Colorow, Chepita McCook and Jackie Garcia; uncles, Roland McCook, Lyman Ankerpont and numerous other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his father, Stanford; his grandparents; sister, Rachel McCook; and brother, Clarence McCook.
Graveside services were held Saturday, March 30, 2019, at 11 a.m. at the Randlett Cemetery. There was a wake at the Ft. Duchesne Community Building on Friday. Final viewing was at the community building.
