Ted Roloff, 58, of Dinosaur, Colo., died peacefully Saturday, June 7, 2014, at the Ashley Regional Medical Center in Vernal.
Ted was born Feb. 20, 1956, in Vernal, Utah, to Adam and Marge Johnson Roloff. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, hunting arrowheads, reloading ammunition, searching for old relics and walking through the woods.
Ted also enjoyed spending time with his wife, kids, grandkids, best friend Larry Wall and, especially, his five four-legged kids: Spud, Tiny, Ruby, Sunny and Bean.
Ted was an excellent mechanic, welder and fabricator, and he enjoyed working in his shop. He worked logging, mining and worked many years in the oilfield.
Ted is survived by his wife of 24 years, Carla AuMiller Roloff; daughters Chrystal AuMiller (Bill Peterson), Sybil Roloff, adopted daughter Jennifer McQueen; three grandchildren, Kristen Leigh AuMiller, Cody Lee Cox and Kyle Marie Richens; and his sons, George Ryan Roloff and Travis Ted Roloff and family. He also had four siblings Ray (Theada) Roloff, Fred (Rhonda) Roloff, Lavon Tiffany and Deann Manning; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Ted is preceded in death by his mother, Marge Bolister; his stepfather, Spike Bolister; and his father, Adam Roloff.
Ted was loved and will be greatly missed by all who new him
Memorial services will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 14, 2014, at Blackburn Vernal Mortuary (15 East 100 North Vernal, Utah).
