Obituary: Toni Lynn Simmons

Toni Lynn Simmons was born in Meeker, Colo., to Chris and Lynn Carroll on Feb. 15, 1988. She attended all of her school years in Meeker, graduating from Meeker High School in 2006.
Toni attended cosmetology school in Craig, Colo.
She was united in marriage to Brandon Simmons on Aug. 25, 2007. To this union two children were born: Jaicee Ryan and Joshua Reed. Toni enjoyed any and all family activities and anything to do with power sports, hunting and camping. Her greatest loves were her children and husband. The Simmonses resided in Meeker for their seven years of marriage.
In 2009, Toni was diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma Cancer, which she fought very valiantly until her passing on June 25, 2013, in Henderson, Nev.
Toni was preceded in death by her grandpa, Don Carroll; uncle Doug Davis; and a cousin, Daniel Dade.
She is survived by her husband Brandon; children Jaicee and Josh; her parents, Chris and Lynn Carroll; two brothers, Justin (Miranda) Carroll and Brett Carroll; a sister, Natalie (Brady) Lanham; a nephew, Klayton Carroll; many grandparents and a multitude of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Toni is also survived by her extended family, Doug and Trula Simmons, Dustin (Gabie) Simmons and niece Keera, along with grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends.
Toni’s smile, perseverance and strength will be remembered as the outstanding person she was, and she will always be in our hearts.
